Round 7 Addendum
They think it’s all over…….it is now
The final match of all our Kirwan League’s was played on the Wednesday before our Gala
Night. The result was eagerly awaited by Glasnevin who were sitting in 2nd place. Unfortunately
for them I was able to reveal at the Gala that St Anthony’s had moved into 2nd place after they
picked up 16.08 VP’s in that final match against Donabate.
The final league position was as follows:
I even have a photo of Peadar receiving 2nd place prize on behalf of his team from Dermot
Toolan from Kirwans.
Donabate did get presented with a cup on the balcony and had their photograph taken with it
and they all looked very lovely and happy. But then I had to take the cup back because they
actually hadn’t won it, but they still looked lovely and happy. Unfortunately I don’t have the
photograph to share with you.
